The AVCC relaunched our quarterly e-newsletter, The Seedling, beginning with the publication of the November 2025 issue.  Future issues will be posted to this website and shared with the listserv every February, May, August and November. We have decided to reintroduce this newsletter – a mix of reports on recent conservation commission activities, articles on relevant conservation topics, profiles of volunteer leaders, and listings of resources, events and opportunities – based on feedback we received over the years from conservation commission members across Vermont, and we look forward to its continued evolution.

In recognition of our work to enhance municipal-level conservation through peer-to-peer learning and model sharing, we plan to fill these pages with details about local “Success Stories” from the people that make them possible.  The Seedling is intended to help inform and amplify the efforts and impacts of Vermont’s dedicated conservation volunteers, so let us know how we can make it better.
